One Book One Island
I am from (El) Salvador and I have been on Nantucket for six years. I am here because I was in Boston and I called my brother who was on Nantucket, he was the first one in my family to come here, and I came to visit him for a week and I liked it here, it is a very nice place.

I had been living in and around Boston, in Revere Beach, in Somerville. I liked it here because it was so nice and because I like the people, there has never been a problem. I am always working with a nice person. I make good money here for eights months of the year. I am in landscaping.
I am also here because we are a family and I came here for my family. I keep my family together back in Salvador because I send money home every month and I am here because I want to get my house (in El Salvador).
